Meet Davidson, a 3-year-old male Shepherd/Rott mix.
Davidson is a wonderful boy. He loves to get attention and is such a teddy bear. He seems like a forever puppy with his droopy face. Davidson loves treats and already knows to sit on commands. He did great on his leash during his photo shoot and was the handlers favorite. Davidson was brought to the adoption center after being picked up by lower valley animal control. He was reported as hit by a car but is doing great and is more than ready to find his furever family.

A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
